Leah Alexandra Jewelry is handcrafted in our Mount Pleasant studio in Vancouver, as well as by our trusted manufacturing partners in Jaipur and Italy. Our stones are responsibly sourced from around the world and sent to Jaipur, where they are expertly cut, faceted, and set by skilled artisans.

Jaipur has been one of the world’s most important gemstone centers for hundreds of years. Often referred to as the “Pink City”, it became a global hub for gemstone cutting and trading in the 18th century under the patronage of the royal court, which invited master gem cutters and jewelers to the region. Over generations, Jaipur developed a reputation for its exceptional craftsmanship and deep expertise in working with colored gemstones, making it one of the leading destinations in the world for gemstone cutting today.

Our manufacturer in Jaipur is a certified member of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) and is also SMETA audited, one of the most widely recognized “gold standard” ethical auditing systems in the industry. These certifications ensure responsible practices across environmental impact, labour standards, workplace safety, business ethics, and transparency.

In addition, the majority of silver used in our jewelry is recycled, helping reduce environmental impact while maintaining the high quality our pieces are known for.
