What is your Spark Warranty?Updated 5 hours ago

Spark Studio Jewelry Warranty

Spark Studio pieces include fine-welded chains, charms, connectors, and permanent jewelry designed for long-term wear. Each piece is custom-sized and specially made for the individual customer, making them final sale, and not eligible for returns or exchanges.

Each Spark item is covered by a 3-month warranty from your original Spark date for coverage of any manufacturing defects. If you experience any issues with your Spark item during this period, please contact our Customer Care team at [email protected] or visit us in-store.

If a replacement is offered as part of your warranty coverage, the replacement must be redeemed within the remaining warranty period. Once the applicable warranty period has expired, any replacement offer will no longer be valid.

Re-Sparks

We want you to enjoy your welded jewelry for years to come, which is why we’re happy to offer complimentary re-Spark services for LAJ pieces at any of our Spark Studio locations, regardless of your original Spark date.

You can book a re-Spark appointment on our booking page or walk into any of our retail locations at any time.

If there isn’t an LAJ Spark Studio located near you, please reach out to our Customer Care team at [email protected], and we’ll be glad to arrange next steps for your complimentary repair.

Please note that any re-Sparks performed outside of an LAJ Spark Studio will void any remaining warranty coverage for your piece.

For non-LAJ jewelry, we’re happy to provide a re-Spark service at any of our Spark Studio locations for a $15 fee. Kindly note that non-LAJ pieces are not covered under our warranty.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

The warranty does not cover damage caused by:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Plating wear or fading

  • Tarnishing

  • Improper care or storage

  • Exposure to chemicals, chlorine or harsh cleaning products

  • Damage from impact, bending, stretching, pulling, friction or accidental breakage

  • Lost charms, connectors, stones, pearls, or decorative add-ons

Please note: Spark pieces with clasps and Spark chain rings are not covered under our Spark Warranty. The Spark Warranty also excludes charms and add-ons.

Caring for your Spark Jewelry

Spark jewelry is designed for continuous wear, and proper care can help extend the lifespan of your piece. We recommend avoiding chlorinated pools, hot tubs, and exposure to harsh chemicals, as these can weaken the metal and contribute to premature wear.

If you plan to swim in chlorinated water, we recommend either having the chain cut at the connection point so it can be re-welded at a later time, or adding a clasp to your piece so it can be easily removed when needed.

Following your initial Spark, you may notice a small black mark at the connection point. This is caused by oxidation that naturally occurs during the welding process and is temporary. The mark will gradually fade with regular wear, typically within a few days.
