Spark Studio, Custom Spark Builder & Permanent Jewelry
Spark Studio pieces include fine-welded chains, charms, connectors, and permanent jewelry designed for long-term wear. Each piece is custom-sized and specially made for the individual customer, making them final sale.
Before you leave your appointment and for all orders, our Spark technicians perform strength and quality tests to ensure the chain is securely welded and ready for everyday wear. Re-sparks for all LAJ items are complimentary and unlimited.
What the Warranty Covers
Manufacturing defects in craftsmanship or materials
Structural issues that occur within the warranty period
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
Normal wear and tear
Plating wear or fading
Tarnishing
Improper care or storage
Exposure to chemicals, chlorine or harsh cleaning products
Damage from impact, bending, stretching, pulling, friction or accidental breakage
Lost charms, connectors, stones, pearls, or decorative add-ons
Spark Warranty Coverage
- 30 Day Spark Warranty
If your permanent piece is lost within the first month due to a manufacturing issue, we will offer a one-time complimentary replacement chain. Please note that charms, connectors, or other add-ons are not eligible for replacement.
For one-time 30-day replacement offers, your replacement must be redeemed within 30 days of the original purchase date. If you’ve been offered a discount toward a replacement, you’ll have until the end of your one-year warranty period to redeem it. After the applicable warranty period has expired, replacement and discount offers will no longer be valid.
- After 30 Days to 1 Year
If you experience Spark manufacturing issues within the first year of your Spark purchase date, you may reach out to our team at [email protected]. Our team may guide you towards a repair or discounted replacement chain. Kindly note that each claim is handled on a case-by-case basis, and outcomes may differ depending on the nature of your claim.
- Re-Sparks
Your Spark piece is eligible for complimentary re-Sparks at any time, at any of our Spark Studio locations. Please be advised that re-Sparks not done at an LAJ Spark Studio will void any remaining warranty coverage for your piece.
For non-LAJ pieces, we're glad to offer a re-Spark service for a $15 fee at any of our Spark Studio locations; however, please note that no warranty coverage will apply.
Please note: Spark pieces with clasps and Spark chain rings are not covered under our Spark Warranty. The Spark Warranty also excludes charms and add-ons.
Caring for your Spark Jewelry
Spark jewelry is designed for continuous wear and proper care is important. We recommend avoiding chlorinated pools, hot tubs, and harsh chemicals, as these can weaken the metal and cause premature wear. If you plan to swim in chlorinated water, we recommend cutting the chain at a jump-ring for later re-welding, or adding a clasp so the piece can be removed when needed.
